Our Services

PetHosting provides an online platform that connects pet owners with individuals who are willing to host pets. We are a marketplace and are not a party to the agreements entered into between pet owners and carers.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations of accepted stays are subject to the policy chosen by the carer. The standard policies are as follows:

Cancellation by the Pet Owner:

• Full Refund (100%): If the owner cancels more than 72 hours before the stay's start date and time.
• Partial Refund (50%): If the owner cancels between 24 and 72 hours before the stay's start.
• No Refund: If the owner cancels less than 24 hours before the stay's start.

Cancellation by the Carer:

If the carer cancels at any time, the pet owner will receive a full refund (100%) of the total amount paid.

User Accounts

To access most features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register for an account, you may be required to provide us with some information about yourself. You agree that the information you provide to us is accurate and that you will keep it accurate and up-to-date at all times.

User Content

You are responsible for your user content. You assume all risks associated with use of your user content, including any reliance on its accuracy, completeness or usefulness by others, or any disclosure of your user content that personally identifies you or any third party.

Prohibited Conduct

By using the Service you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law;
• Violate, or encourage others to violate, any right of a third party, including by infringing or misappropriating any third party intellectual property right;
• Post, upload, or distribute any User Content or other content that is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, inaccurate, or that a reasonable person could deem to be objectionable, profane, indecent, pornographic, harassing, threatening, embarrassing, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate.

The service is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors, and we do not warrant that any defects will be corrected.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will PetHosting be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your access to or use of, or your inability to access or use, the service or any materials or content on the service.

Governing Law

These terms will be governed by the laws of the Republic of Uruguay, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

We may make changes to these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the amended Terms to our Services and update the 'Last Updated' date above.
